West County Lawn-to-Meadow Conversion

On what used to be an empty lawn that needed too much irrigation, a series of sculpted basins harvest stormwater runoff from roofs and pavement.  Instead of leaving the site, this extra water now supports a plant community of mostly native bunch grasses, shrubs, ground covers and wildflowers.  The path network creates a circuit garden experience with interest for all seasons.
